Job Summary
Design and execute quantitative surveys and qualitative research initiatives, including focus groups and customer interviews, to gather consumer feedback. Analyze customer preferences, demographics, and buying habits to map the customer journey and benchmark market position against competitor activities. Clean and analyze datasets from CRM, web analytics, and industry reports to identify actionable trends, then translate findings into visual dashboards and executive reports for leadership. Present research results to cross-functional teams and account partners, collaborating with marketing and event teams to test concepts and measure campaign ROI. This role requires a hybrid schedule in Dearborn, MI (three days onsite), with occasional weekend travel for events and physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field
- 3-7 years of direct experience in market research, consumer insights, or marketing analytics
- Hands-on experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Decipher, etc.)
- Familiarity with web analytics and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Adobe Analytics)
- Proficiency in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Exceptional storytelling ability; capable of explaining why the data matters and what the business should do next
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Ability to lift supplies up to 35lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge about customer experiences and the automotive industry is a plus
- Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) is preferred
