Job Summary
Lead and carry out complete overhauls of marine engines and generator sets, while diagnosing and resolving complex faults in auxiliary machinery. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime, ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and operational procedures. Manage inventory by identifying required spare parts with accurate tracking and documentation, and perform repairs on onboard HVAC, refrigeration, pumps, and compressors. Requires a diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields with minimum five years of hands-on experience in marine propulsion systems. Salary is 100,000 INR per month, located in Qatar, with open positions for Muslim and Christian candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
- Strong expertise in diesel engines, inboard and outboard marine propulsion systems, and powertrain components
- Proven experience in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and auxiliary marine equipment
- Experience working with multiple marine engine and generator brands
