Senior Marine Structural Engineer/Project Manager

Job Summary

Technical Leader responsible for delivering ports, marine and waterfront design projects. Supervise and perform engineering analysis and design, lead development of construction plans, specifications and cost estimates; act as responsible charge and engineer of record for contract deliverables. Conduct inspection and condition assessment of ports and waterfront infrastructure; analyze site conditions and regulatory specifications; interact with contractors for construction administration including shop drawing reviews, site visits, RFI responses, pay apps, and change orders. Prepare materials for reports, permits, text documents, and graphics; ensure compliance with codes and standards. Mentor and guide technical staff. Serve as primary client-facing point of contact on projects; manage multi-disciplinary teams, schedules, budgets, risks, QA/QC, scopes of work and proposals; support business development and client relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering (minimum required)
  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in deepwater marine and waterfront infrastructure design
  • At least 3+ years of project management and technical leadership experience
  • P.E. License in Florida and/or Texas is required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
