Job Summary
Lead the design and independent checking of marine and port structures across all project phases; define design basis, criteria, and analysis approaches for marine infrastructure; carry out and review advanced structural analyses including soil–structure interaction and marine environmental loading; prepare and review drawings, specifications, calculations, and tender documentation; apply QA/QC to ensure high-quality deliverables; act as senior project manager or task manager for projects/work packages with scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change management; provide construction-phase support and resolve field issues; mentor intermediate and junior engineers through technical guidance; proficiency in STAAD/SAP2000; P.Eng. required; hybrid working culture in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- B.A.Sc./B.Eng. in Civil or Structural Engineering
- P.Eng. (EGBC)
- Approximately 7 to 11 years of experience delivering ports and marine structures
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, coordination, and client interactions
