Job Summary
Conduct optical, electronic, and mechanical assembly operations, including wiring, hand soldering, and component installation. Perform mechanical and optical alignment for laser tuning, followed by functional, leak, and laser performance testing. Execute electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records, ensure ESD compliance, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement. Adhere to safety, 5S, and quality standards while working onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot automated equipment
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability to interpret technical documentation
- Strong quality mindset
- Ability to detect abnormalities
- Ability to verify work against specifications
- Ability to ensure tasks are completed accurately and consistently
- Willingness and ability to work overtime
- Willingness and ability to work weekends
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours
- Knowledge of ESD control practices
