Job Summary
Ensure balloon manufacturing and catheter device assembly are conducted efficiently and safely in accordance with Company QMS. Operate all related equipment, troubleshoot issues or product defects to resolve in timely fashion, and manage the startup and shutdown of manufacturing lines. Maintain workspace standards including 5S, general housekeeping, and instrument calibration while completing and filing accurate production and maintenance quality records. Draft or execute documentation such as manufacturing procedures, equipment qualifications, and SOPs. Assist with maintenance tasks, participate in health and safety activities, and train other technicians, operators, or engineering staff on equipment operations and processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years cleanroom experience building balloon catheters
- Experience with PTCA type balloon (e.g. nylon/polyamide) blowing and catheter manufacturing
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with ERP (SAP)
- MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to multiple skill levels - operators, technicians, engineers, and management
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
