Job Summary
Senior Supervisor, Visual Inspection leads finishing team in a regulated manufacturing environment supporting Drug Product Finishing under cGMP. Responsible for supervising Group Leads/Supervisors, overseeing employee training, scheduling production operations, managing deviations and CAPAs, and coordinating interactions with internal/external clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Provides technical support to manufacturing and investigations staff, develops and reviews protocols/SOPs/forms/study reports, and drives continuous improvement of processes and technologies in finishing operations. Requires strong leadership, regulatory/compliance awareness, and ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Must meet the physical and attendance requirements typical of a full-time on-site role and be able to work in a fast-paced, regulated GMP environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in a Life Sciences discipline, or equivalent training and experience required
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or other applicable regulated environment preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of strong leadership/supervisory experience required
- Experience with cGMP, manufacturing, machine operations, and data entry preferred
- Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions in a manufacturing GMP environment
- Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
