Senior Manufacturing Manager (Helios)

Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead and mentor manufacturing engineers and technicians in hardware builds for Impulse Space Helios vehicles, driving manufacturability, process optimization, and value-stream ownership from sheet metal fabrication through propulsion and avionics checkouts; accountable for daily/weekly production targets, quality standards, and cross-functional collaboration with design, quality, and test sites to ensure reliable, scalable aerospace hardware. Responsibilities include hiring/mentoring staff, improving yields, developing manufacturing processes for hardware and checkouts, maintaining high technical standards through specifications and training, and supporting Mojave test site with technical bandwidth. Required: bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field and 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams; preferred: 12+ years experience and master’s degree in mechanical engineering, deep expertise in pressurized structures, avionics/procurement integration, tubes manufacturing, and space-environment manufacturing experience.
