Job Summary
Lead and manage manufacturing teams across ABMD, Space Launch Systems and ISS-related operations, driving continuous improvement and standard work while ensuring a positive safety culture. Direct indirectly the Materials Management, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, EHS and Quality teams; collaborate with peers to replicate efficiencies, and guide robust process-improvement programs including RCCA, defect elimination, and rate-increase initiatives. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and 5+ years in leadership within manufacturing, strong data/problem-solving skills, cross-functional team experience, and the ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL. Must meet security requirements (active U.S. Secret Clearance) and comply with relocation, export-control, and COI policies. Summary pay range: USD 141,950 – 192,050; compensation includes 401(k) and related benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership or management role
- 5+ years’ experience implementing continuous process improvement/lean in manufacturing
- 5+ years’ experience with data collection/interpretation/problem solving
- 5+ years’ experience leading cross-functional or cross-organizational teams in manufacturing
- Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU)/hourly union-represented workforce
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or eligible)
