Job Summary
Repair and maintain preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems including weight feeders, scales, conveyors, hot oil, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot electrical, electronic systems, PLCs, and combustion equipment while performing metal fabrication, machining, and facility upkeep. Manage parts inventory research and support engineering in new product development. Participate in housekeeping duties to ensure plant safety and appearance. This hands-on role requires extensive experience across multiple critical plant systems at our composite decking manufacturing facility, including boilers, chillers, and extrusion equipment. Candidates must possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with industrial boilers
- Strong experience with air compressor systems
- Strong experience with hot oil systems
- Strong experience with chillers
- Strong experience with hydraulic systems
- PLC troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-first mindset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work from heights
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders
- Working knowledge of motors
- Working knowledge of drives
