Job Summary
Lead the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for HVAC products, designing process gauging, material handling systems, and plant layouts. Drive continuous improvement through lean principles to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity goals by partnering cross-functionally on new product introductions and plant operations. Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and processes, analyze statistical process control data, and manage equipment, supplier, and service contracts. Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and capital justifications while developing PFMEAs, method sheets, and manufacturing execution systems. Resolve ergonomic, safety, and quality concerns and mentor team members to support a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, and manufacturing best practices
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
