Job Summary
Spearhead the creation of complex manufacturing processes utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives and perform end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product. Analyze and revamp current production processes with a hands-on approach, developing SOPs with detailed work instructions for programs, tooling, and operations sequences. Run tests to prove process implementation, provide estimates for labor ratios and time standards, and research new equipment to advocate for automated manufacturing tools. Act as an owner of specific manufacturing projects and collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to streamline operations. Requires 5+ years of experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling and hands-on machining, with a base salary of $115,000-$145,000 and 100% in-office location in the South Towns.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Associate's degree with 8+ years' experience, High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years' experience
- Proficient computer skills
- experience with CAD/CAM required (Siemens NX, Mastercam, or similar)
- Knowledge/experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling
- Hands-on machining experience (set up and operation) with a variety of materials
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, driven, energetic, great personality and communication skills
- Willingness to travel, as needed
- Relocation assistance available for anyone outside of 50 miles of facility
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
