Job Summary

Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Process Development focused on Assembly. You will lead the Process Industrialization team in developing and industrializing manufacturing processes for rotor assembly applications (torquing, balancing, tensioning, induction heating, rotor lathe, grinding) and enable hand-off to production. Responsibilities include executing process development, implementing and qualifying processes, mentoring engineers, applying lean and kaizen to optimize manufacturing workflows, and driving policy/roadmap initiatives while ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with customer needs. The role requires strong mechanical/process engineering skills, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable processes and continuous improvement in a high-stakes manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • High School Diploma / GED with 10+ years of equivalent experience AND Minimum of 8 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment (e.g., Gas Turbines, Aerospace, Steel Manufacturing, or Heavy Industrial).
  • Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons due to access to export-controlled technology.
