Job Summary

Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for design, development, and commissioning scalable manufacturing equipment for testing coldplates and producing products at scale. Leads the manufacturing scale-up program for Johnson Controls Stack Forging’s thermal solutions, with onsite presence in Burlington, MA. Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, 7+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years commissioning capital equipment, 2+ years in thermal-fluid systems, and proficiency with lean manufacturing principles. Acts as a technical leader, mentors junior engineers and production staff, and collaborates across functions to establish standards for manufacturing quality, process control (PFMEAs), and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience with commissioning capital equipment
  • 2+ years of experience with thermal-fluid systems
