Job Summary
Monitor key operational projects to ensure attainment of scope, timing, budgets, and desired outcomes. Lead technical aspects of new product development, including projecting equipment, cycle times, and automation deployment, while managing vendor relationships and optimizing processes with plant staff. Conduct project management training, audit technical standards, and research new technology to support facility and equipment strategies. Manage significantly large projects involving new product development, facility changes, and infrastructure initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree – Plastics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3-6 years of relevant work experience
- AutoCAD &/or SolidWorks experience
- Project management experience
- Welding experience, when in Customs operations
Desired Qualifications
- Scientific Molding Certifications, such as RJG Train the Trainer Certification
- Project Management by PMBOK
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with plastic molding operations
- Familiarity with Scientific Molding principles
- Knowledge of product design/manufacturability
