Job Summary
Analyze production processes and equipment to identify improvement opportunities, develop project proposals, and execute them from concept to implementation. Develop and implement process control techniques, continuously analyze manufacturing flows for quality, cost reduction, and throughput enhancements, and estimate staffing requirements for operational decisions. Collaborate with Production Supervisors to coordinate employee training, troubleshoot production floor issues, and implement corrective actions including tooling or fixture design changes. Maintain assembly documentation, execute testing to assure assembly performance, and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and safety standards. Present manufacturing designs at review meetings and document all technical specifications and testing data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or similar Engineering
- 7 plus years' experience in a manufacturing or equipment engineering position at a production facility
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing and systems processes
- Must pass drug and background screens
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (provided by employer)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in business and/or manufacturing related engineering field
- Experience or certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
