Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods while coordinating product launches for new or revised items. Lead plant manufacturing engineering efforts by guiding teams through process improvements, problem resolution, and project management to drive cost reduction, quality gains, and efficiency. Perform research and design for production flows, assembly methods, and equipment, including automation interfaces with robotics and vision systems. Maintain plant documentation, establish lineside racking, and prepare electronic floor layout drawings for continuous improvement projects. Execute capital appropriation requests, manage preventive maintenance, and analyze workflow to optimize equipment utilization and OEE. Mentor other engineers and participate in design reviews to ensure reliable, safe manufacturing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- Science Engineer; Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing or similar
- 5-9 Minimum Years of Experience working in the field
- 5-9 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces
- Demonstrated experience with improving processes, work flow, and labor
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop other manufacturing engineers
