Job Summary
Support, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians to foster daily accountability and technical excellence using Danaher Business System tools like 5S and Value Stream Mapping. Drive process optimization through Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure high line availability, minimize scrap, and maximize yield via data analysis. Deliver cost savings by improving process capability, increasing productivity, and integrating new technologies while identifying business continuity risks and leading equipment upgrades to safeguard supply against obsolescence and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Proven technical experience, ideally in regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or food and beverage industries)
- Strong background in High‐speed automated assembly
- Demonstrable track record of successfully increasing manufacturing capacity and leading major process optimization initiatives to enhance yield, and productivity
- Knowledge and ability to lead change-control and product & process validation activities, ideally within a regulated industry
- Proficiency in structured problem‐solving methodologies applied to assembly opportunities in Manufacturing (5Whys, A3, Ishikawa, DMAIC, 8D)
- Data‐driven, fact‐based decision maker utilising sources such as SPC and OEE to drive improved quality and productivity
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in: Exposure to bespoke assembly lines
- Previous experience in: robotic systems
- Previous experience in: control & vision systems
- Previous experience in: advanced plastic assembly & welding technologies (Ultrasonic, RF and IR plastic welding)
