Job Summary
Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for identifying, ordering and commissioning key CGMP-process equipment, owning engineering processes for the area, developing and modifying manufacturing documentation and procedures for commercial and new products, and ensuring product/process requirements meet quality, output and cost objectives. Leads process improvements to enhance product quality and yield, conducts qualification activities, supports MRB and CAPA initiatives, trains cross-functional teams, and collaborates across the organization to drive operational excellence. Requires ability to plan non-routine tasks, coach and lead technical reports, and travel internationally as part of project teams. Educational background in engineering with 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience and strong communication, data-driven decision making, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
- Proven ability to independently perform a broad range of Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities and provide technical support for manufacturing operations
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, technical specifications, protocols, and reports
- Hands-on, action-oriented with strong problem-solving, project management, and execution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and drive initiatives to completion
- Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset and focus on operational excellence
- Willingness to travel internationally as part of project team
- Capable of training cross functional team members including engineers, technicians and product builders
- Knowledge of project management
- Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
