Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Barracuda

Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Anduril Barracuda product leading manufacturing design for autonomy hardware. Responsibilities include ensuring the highest production quality, supporting the development and implementation of new products across program designs, design for manufacturability, tool design and selection, process creation and optimization, vendor sourcing and collaboration, quality planning, and documentation for hardware production. Acts as a manufacturing liaison for mechanical fabrication and avionics with subject matter expertise in these areas and DFx. Own MBOMs, work instructions, and requirements; advise on quality management and business applications as they pertain to manufacturing; collaborate with internal customers and planning to define capacity actions; analyze metrics for cost reduction and quality improvements; instill a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the manufacturing engineering team; develop production and test methodologies to scale production; travel to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing and issue resolution. Role requires relocating to Costa Mesa for a 3-month training program, with housing and transportation provided during stay, and eventual work at Arsenal-1 in Ashville, OH.
