Job Summary
Senior Managing Director, Advancement responsible for translating regional fundraising strategy into scalable programs, events, communications, and campaigns across ~20 regions to drive $300M annual revenue; leads a high-performing team delivering donor relations, campaigns, and fundraising operations, with emphasis on donor experience, stewardship, and revenue growth across multiple audiences and markets; partners with senior leaders to translate strategy into operational priorities and enterprise-wide initiatives; remote U.S.-based role with two development cohorts and cross-functional collaboration; compensation tiered by location.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a complex development and fundraising context
- Deep expertise in donor cultivation, stewardship, and pipeline-building across individual, corporate, and foundation streams
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious revenue goals
- Skilled at setting vision and leading execution of complex, high-stakes fundraising events including galas and benefit dinners
- Adept at producing compelling donor communications and campaigns across multiple audience segments
- Demonstrated success managing a diverse team across multiple functions
- Ability to influence and drive alignment across geographically dispersed teams
- Comfort using CRM data to monitor progress and adjust strategy
