Job Summary
Senior Managing Consultant leading Canada CST practice within Ramboll’s Environment and Health group. Responsible for managing environmental due diligence and compliance projects for industrial, PE, and legal clients; developing proposals and budgets; coordinating with experts on health & safety, climate risk, ESG, and PFAS; mentoring junior staff; directing technical analyses; preparing draft work products and ensuring compliance and risk reduction for clients; managing national/global projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellence; delivering training and client presentations; and fostering long-term client partnerships. Requires 12+ years in environmental consulting, Phase I ESA experience, strong regulatory knowledge in Canada (Quebec in particular), ability to manage complex projects, travel readiness, and strong communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or engineering (Master’s preferred) with a Canada-wide compensation framework; salary CAD 130k–160k annually (converted to USD for this posting). Flexible hybrid work arrangement in Mississauga, Ontario with remote/home options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or environmental engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- 12+ years of EHS experience in consulting
- Experience with Phase I ESAs and transactional due diligence
- Registered Lead Auditor in Canada (preferred) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Canadian EHS regulatory requirements (including Quebec)
- Experience leading and mentoring staff
- Ability to manage complex projects independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent in French preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build client relationships and drive repeat business
