Job Summary
Senior LSP leadership role in New England environment: manage and oversee Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional responsibilities including site investigations, risk assessment, and remediation planning under the MCP with MassDEP; provide technical and business leadership, mentor staff, and drive client engagement to deliver sustainable environmental solutions. Lead cross-disciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality reporting, and contribute to growth of Ramboll’s New England practice. The role emphasizes leadership, project management, data analysis, regulatory interaction, and clear communication with clients and agencies, with a focus on delivering effective remediation strategies and continued staff development in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts LSP license (mandatory)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field
- Typically 10+ years of experience in site investigations and remediation projects per MCP/MassDEP requirements
- Strong leadership, project management, and mentoring abilities
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and modeling techniques
- Knowledge of environmental sampling techniques, regulatory reporting, and MassDEP processes
- Experience with regulatory compliance, site investigation reports, risk assessments, and remedial action planning
- Ability to generate business and contribute to firm growth
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across New England states
- Interest in leading for Ramboll in a complex environmental consulting landscape
