Job Summary

Lead delivery of complex, multi-workstream clinical quality and performance transformation engagements for acute care hospitals, partnering directly with executive leadership to align clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders. Own end-to-end workplan execution, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive measurable improvements in patient safety, surgical quality, infection prevention, and mortality reduction. Leverage EMR and performance data to inform decision-making, guide hospitals on optimizing CMS Care Compare reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance with CMS and state health departments. Translate strategic objectives into actionable solutions for physicians and frontline teams while building high-performing project teams. Requires 7+ years in acute care operations, willingness to travel 50-75%, and no sponsorship eligibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in acute care or healthcare settings
  • Strong emphasis on hospital operations, clinical quality, performance improvement, and transformation
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a closely related field
  • Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship
  • Willing to travel consistently (50% - 75%), depending on project requirements and client expectations

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MPH, MHA, MSN, MBA, or similar)
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPHQ, CIC, Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale implementation initiatives, including but extending beyond assessments or strategy design
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with physicians, nursing leaders, and executive teams to drive change and adoption of evidence-based practices
  • Strong working knowledge of hospital operations, EMR systems, quality metrics, and performance scorecards
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams focused on patient outcomes, quality, and operational performance
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and change management skills
