Job Summary
Senior Managing Consultant in Air Quality Compliance and Permitting leads technical and business initiatives within Ramboll's Air Sciences Group. Responsible for facilitating air quality permit applications and environmental impact assessments, managing complex projects and acting as technical lead for Consultant and Senior Consultant staff, overseeing client relationships and deliverables, interpreting local, state, and federal regulations, pursuing business development opportunities, and conducting site visits. The role requires 10+ years of air quality permitting experience, a BS/MS in an engineering or science discipline, demonstrated business development and leadership abilities, and strong skills in client/regulatory engagement, project management, mentoring, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience in air quality permitting and compliance
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or other relevant science/engineering discipline
- Demonstrated business development capabilities
- Ability to externally manage client and regulatory agency relationships and internally manage staff and competing project priorities
- Ability to train and utilize junior consulting staff, and experience leading a team on projects
