Job Summary
Oversee boutique repair and maintenance operations across Southern California, ensuring spaces reflect CHANEL's standards of excellence and operational integrity. Manage vendor partnerships to improve service quality, responsiveness, and cost efficiency while identifying recurring issues to implement proactive maintenance strategies. Provide critical on-the-ground response for urgent facility issues, supporting boutique openings, relocations, and enhancements through coordinated execution. This role requires 5+ years of facilities or retail operations experience and involves approximately 60% field work with travel to Northern California, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and the Pacific Northwest. Availability includes evenings and weekends for urgent matters.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of facilities, construction-related, or retail operation experience
- Partial Remote (Field-Based Role)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
- Travel required, including frequent boutique visits across Northern California, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and the Pacific Northwest
- approximately 60% of the workweek spent in the field
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed
- Availability to respond to urgent matters outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, construction, or retail operations
- Strong understanding of building systems (MEP) and construction drawings
- Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, and multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working in a multi-site retail or hospitality environment
