Job Summary
Senior Manager leads the 529 & ABLE Service Team in Vestwell’s Scottsdale-based Service Center, directly managing ~10 coordinators and driving scalable operations, KPIs, and coaching. Partners with QA/Training, IRA, relationship managers, and product to ensure high-quality, data-driven service delivery; drives efficiency by reducing handle time, increasing first-contact resolution, and building capacity models; defines performance standards, coaches talent for future leadership roles, and advocates for product enhancements based on contact data and error patterns.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience managing a service or operations team, ideally in a regulated, high-volume environment
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency with measurable results
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to identify trends, build a case, and track outcomes
- Experience working with a Product team and translating operational pain into product conversations
- Management experience in setting expectations, developing talent, and managing performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for front-line teams and senior leadership
- Comfort building structure in ambiguous environments; ability to create process where little exists today
- Knowledge of 529 and/or ABLE programs (preferred)
