Senior Manager, Venue Security

Job Summary
Develop venue-based security plans by collaborating with functional areas, government agencies, and public safety partners to integrate designs into overall Games operational strategies. Lead risk assessments, oversee implementation of approved security operations at assigned venues, and manage relationships with external partners including law enforcement and regulatory entities. Supervise Venue Security Managers, chair planning meetings, and deliver status reports while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires 7+ years of venue safety experience and 3-5 years of supervisory leadership. The position reports to the Director, Venue Security, with an annual base salary of $105,000-$140,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced, venue safety/security position
- Minimum of 3-5 years of personnel supervisory/management experience
- Experience in cross functional security planning and collaboration
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in event security, specifically international, multi-sport events is strongly preferred
- Experience working with the federal, state or local government is preferred
- Experience in multi-Venue event security planning or large-scale project management is preferred
- Passion for sports, community engagement, or involvement in large-scale events
