Senior Manager, US Retail Portfolio Strategy & Execution (Secondment - 12 Months)

Job Summary

Develop retail-specific, customer-centered strategies and resources to support the growth of Pfizer's Primary Care Portfolio, including vaccines, antivirals, and at-home testing kits. Collaborate with US brand teams, pharmacy account teams, and retail customers to coordinate educational initiatives, in-store programs, and media while identifying unmet needs for pharmacists and patients. Lead the development of personal and non-personal digital assets, direct agencies on campaign messaging, and maintain promotional calendars in partnership with brand leads. Participate in external customer meetings, congress planning, and field force engagement to optimize program cohesion and drive tactical execution across the Retail Channel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare-related marketing or operations within the retail segment
  • Solid understanding of today's US pharmaceutical environment, with emphasis on the importance of following all Regulatory, Legal and Compliance-related guidelines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Strong analytical/planning skills and ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative idea development
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers
  • Ability to develop and coach others
  • Ability to oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
  • Some domestic travel
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree with at least 5+ years of experience
  • PhD with 1+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with US retail pharmacy market landscape with experience in identifying unmet needs for pharmacists as well as consumers/patients using pharmacy services
  • Vaccines or antiviral market experience
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Experience in working effectively with external stakeholders
  • Ability to anticipate and take appropriate actions -- identifying and raising issues
  • Ability to solve issues
  • Ability to anticipate and prevent issues
