Job Summary
Senior Manager - US IT Operating Model responsible for governance, oversight, and assessment of IT processes within CUSO’s IT operations. Builds relationships with IT process owners, verifies Risk Statements, Control Objectives, KPIs, and KRIs to meet RBC IT Policies & Standards and regulatory expectations. Supports the US CIO’s mission of consistent execution assurance across technology programs, drives continuous improvement of the US IT Target Operating Model, enables structured process reviews and documentation across IT domains, collaborates with Second Line of Defense Cyber & IT Risk and Internal Audit for transparent governance, defines and monitors metrics to provide early risk signaling, and participates in relevant governance forums to represent the US CIO office.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in financial services IT Governance, Risk Management, or IT Operations Management
- demonstrated understanding of IT systems and operational processes
- experience across IT process domains
- ability to connect governance, resilience, service management, and performance into a unified framework
- solid verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex issues for senior management
- experience with process modeling or documentation tools (e.g., Visio)
- familiarity with FFIEC IT Examination Handbooks, Federal Reserve letters, OCC bulletins
- understanding of cybersecurity, IT risk management, IT resiliency, IT infrastructure, IT operations, IT service delivery, and IT change management
- experience coordinating transformational efforts in large, complex ecosystems across disparate stakeholders
- nice-to-have: certification in IT Governance, Risk Management, IT Operations, IT Resilience, or IT Service Delivery
