Job Summary
Senior Manager, US Forecasting at Amgen leads advanced forecasting efforts for inline brands, develops and manages forecast models (e.g., Monte Carlo analyses), collaborates with global brand leads and cross-functional partners (Commercial, R&D, Medical, Finance, Manufacturing, Access, Pricing/Contracting), and communicates complex insights to leadership. Responsibilities include designing forecasting frameworks, driving scenario planning and what-if analyses, interpreting policy and pricing changes, owning multi-brand forecasts, improving forecasting processes, and enabling decision-making with data-driven insights. The role includes a flexible commuter arrangement to Thousand Oaks with on-site presence 2-3 days per week; requires strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, ability to influence ED/VP level staff, and excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management experience
- Master’s degree and 4 years of Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management experience
- Associate’s degree and 10 years of Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management experience
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management experience
