Senior Transportation Manager responsible for overseeing a multi-location operation with up to 100 company drivers, focusing on P&L, asset management, safety, customer service, driver onboarding, and staff development. Manages 1-2 on-site managers overseeing 20-30 employees, tracks operational performance (on-time pickups/deliveries, volume, equipment balance, empty miles), and recruits/retains drivers to meet fleet size goals. Emphasizes budgeting, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in transportation operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of transportation management experience
- Advanced knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Strong experience in the transportation industry principles and practices
