Job Summary
Manage Shrewsberry personnel and subcontractors to meet contract deliverables within budget while overseeing administrative, engineering, and proposal functions for civil projects. Provide technical delivery of complex roadway designs, negotiate change orders, and control costs and staffing levels. Advise on overall direction of the Seattle office and transportation markets, representing the firm in industry associations and participating in proposal presentations. Identify local prospects, research potential clients, and maintain strong business networks through client relationship management. Mentor mid-level and junior staff to ensure engineering services align with professional standards and company objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college
- 15+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Proven track record of project delivery of transportation design projects
- Prior experience leading and developing teams, with direct reports
