Senior Manager, Technology Consulting – Application & AI Engineering

Job Summary
Lead complex technology consulting engagements from strategy through implementation, advising executive stakeholders on application modernization, AI adoption, and engineering transformation while managing multidisciplinary delivery teams. Develop trusted relationships with senior business and technology executives across British Columbia to identify, qualify, and pursue new consulting opportunities, including proposal development, RFP responses, and executive presentations. Shape the future direction and growth of the local AI Engineering practice by creating new consulting offerings, methodologies, and reusable delivery assets, while embedding responsible AI principles and governance controls into AI-enabled solutions. Recruit, coach, and mentor consulting professionals to foster a high-performing culture, balancing market development, client delivery, and practice leadership to help clients solve meaningful business challenges.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of consulting, advisory, or technology transformation experience with significant client-facing responsibilities
- Experience within a leading consulting organization
- Demonstrated success developing trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, senior technology leaders, and business executives
- Proven business development experience including proposal development, RFP responses, executive presentations, account planning, and pursuit leadership
- Experience leading complex consulting engagements from strategy through implementation
- Experience managing multidisciplinary consulting teams while coaching and developing future leaders
- Strong commercial acumen including engagement financial management, delivery governance, quality management, and risk mitigation
- Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- The ability to translate complex technology concepts into practical business outcomes for executive audiences
- Experience leading production AI-enabled applications
- Experience with responsible AI principles and governance in AI-enabled solutions
- Experience helping build or scale a consulting practice or service offering
- Existing executive relationships within the British Columbia market
- Experience delivering consulting services across industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, Mining, Transportation, Healthcare, Technology, or other key BC industries
- Professional certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, SAFe, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or comparable architecture and engineering certifications
- Experience with Agile delivery, DevSecOps, platform engineering, AI-assisted software delivery, enterprise modernization, or modern engineering practices
Desired Qualifications
