Job Summary
Senior Manager of Technology and Data Strategy to lead the data and analytics vision for HEALI SCN within NY Health Equity Reform. Responsible for building and owning a data governance framework, defining KPIs and analytics strategy for program outcomes, and representing HEALI’s technology interests to state and network stakeholders. Will manage interoperability initiatives with NY DOH, Qualified Entities (HIEs), MCOs, providers, and CBOs; design and oversee workflows for health and social care data collection and monitoring; collaborate with technology vendors on systems and reporting capabilities; advise on regulatory impacts (HIPAA) and HIT trends; and work cross-functionally on system updates and data-exchange solutions. Hybrid work environment with a salary range of $110,000–$130,000 yearly. Location: Huntington Station, NY, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, healthcare informatics, information technology or related
- Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in technical roles (solutions architecture, software engineering)
- Experience with Clinical Information Systems, Interoperability Standards, Healthcare Data Analysis, Payor Claims, SDLC and change management
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, IHE, Epic, Data Warehousing, and API
- Familiarity with state and federal information privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare technology policy and interoperability practices
- Ability to define KPIs and analytics strategy for program outcomes
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills
- Hybrid work environment familiarity
- Bachelor’s degree with Master’s strongly preferred
