Job Summary
Senior Manager, Technical Accounting oversees development, implementation, and communication of accounting policies across global operations; serves as SME on ASC 805, ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718, and other complex non-routine transactions; provides technical analyses, memos, and disclosures; partners with leadership on strategic initiatives (M&A, new product launches, international expansion); collaborates with external auditors; supports internal controls/SOX and mentors finance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Active CPA license
- 8+ years of professional experience with a mix of audit and technical accounting for a public filer or related advisory experience
- Strong technical accounting expertise; US GAAP technical accounting research and drafting memo
