Job Summary
Design and deliver enterprise technology solutions overseeing hybrid infrastructure, enterprise networking, collaboration platforms, cybersecurity operations, and end-user support services. Provide oversight of server, storage, network, wireless, audio/video collaboration, helpdesk, and security operations while serving as the escalation point for complex technical challenges and high-profile meetings. Partner with Technology leadership to drive innovation, operational excellence, and resilient technology architecture for a meeting-intensive hybrid organization. Some evenings and weekends required; hybrid schedule with minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive responsibility in medium to large IS departments
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience; AAN employees may substitute requirement with 3 years leading program teams, project teams, and/or team lead experience
- Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments
- Hands‐on familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory and cloud platforms
- Experience operating enterprise networking and security platforms, including firewalls, VPNs, switching, and wireless
- Demonstrated ability to uphold the AAN's values
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a team in a fast-paced environment and nurture individual career development and growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Minimal travel required – up to 5%
- Location: Minneapolis, MN and is identified as hybrid (required to work in the office with the ability to work remotely part of the week)
- Schedule: Some evenings and weekends required
Desired Qualifications
- ITIL, Azure, Cisco, or security related certifications is preferred
- Experience with VMware or Nutanix HCI platforms is preferred
- Experience with CrowdStrike endpoint security or equivalent is preferred
- Experience with Cisco email security and Meraki wireless platforms is preferred
- Experience supporting Zoom meetings and webinars in meeting‐intensive environments is preferred
