Job Summary
Partner with the tax team to identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and technology solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy. Evaluate end-to-end tax processes, data flows, and system dependencies to improve scalability across both manufacturing and SaaS business models. Support and enhance the tax technology stack, including D365, Salesforce, Vertex O Series, Sigma, Snowflake, and related platforms. Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve workflows, documentation, research, and team productivity. Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions. Serve as a strategic partner and internal resource for tax technology and operational issues, balancing business needs with technical capabilities. Support global tax operations across a complex international environment with presence in both manufacturing and SaaS contexts.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in tax technology, finance technology, business systems, or a related function
- Experience supporting a large multinational or complex global business
- Strong background in process improvement, systems support, and solution design
- Strong project management and cross-functional team collaboration skills
- Experience with D365, Salesforce, Vertex O Series, Sigma, and Snowflake
- Working knowledge of SQL and related data or automation tools
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools
- Intermediate-to-advanced SQL (not just query writing — schema awareness, joins, troubleshooting data pipeline issues), experience building or maintaining a data mart or reporting layer, and Sigma or similar tool dashboard development or administration
- Systems architecture and problem-solving mindset - required
- Tax experience preferred; including direct and indirect taxes globally
