Job Summary
Lead multidiscipline engineering teams and establish agile processes for the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software sustainment and development program. Coordinate with Product Owners, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution while tracking metrics to improve team velocity and remove impediments. Manage staffing, coordinate with the SE Discipline matrix, and provide annual feedback reviews to drive technical competency growth. Guide systems engineering rigor across requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration, and verification, including technical baseline development and configuration management. Deliver customer-level briefings on systems engineering and I&T scope. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Experience in management of system engineering, test engineering, or integration engineering
- Experience with personnel management for staffing, growth & development
- Demonstrated ability to lead a scrum team and drive results through tracking & interpreting metrics
- Experience establishing and leading modern agile execution
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team while addressing technical, execution and personnel issues
- Experience with cloud based, distributed, or containerized systems
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA Security+
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other cloud native technologies
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, automated testing, and CI/CD
- Knowledge of DoD mission systems, cybersecurity requirements, and secure by design practices
