Job Summary
Lead the plant-level supply chain function by executing the monthly S&OP process, issuing master production schedules, and managing material requirements planning. Oversee procurement, inventory control, sterilization operations, and logistics distribution while meeting service level targets and optimizing operating budgets. Direct team development, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety standards. Align with global strategies for supplier improvement and working capital targets to drive efficiency across the Columbus site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
- Seven years Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management experience
- Advanced level of leadership abilities
- Decision making and coaching skills
- Communication and presentation skills
- Advanced team building abilities
- Strategic thinking
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma
- Broad understanding and practice of Business Processes, especially Supply Chain Processes (S&OP Process, Order fulfillment, MRP management, Master Production Scheduling, Inventory management)
- Warehouse and Transportation knowledge
- Procurement practices
- Ability to read and write and converse in English
- Willingness and ability to uphold BD Values
- Regular, punctual attendance
