Job Summary
Shape organizational strategy by establishing priorities, defining success measures, and leading strategic planning to develop execution roadmaps. Identify opportunities and trends to improve performance, then measure progress to inform executive decision-making. Lead cross-functional teams to solve business challenges by ensuring common goal understanding, developing robust approaches, and soliciting input from internal and external stakeholders. Own initiatives from concept through implementation by structuring problems, analyzing options, and conducting quantitative and qualitative research. Prepare executive-level materials to gain alignment on next steps while coaching junior members and contributing new frameworks. Work onsite at the Rogers Centre with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years' experience in strategy consulting, an internal corporate strategy function, investment banking, or a related high-performance field
- Structured problem-solving ability in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Ownership mindset with the ability to lead projects and mentor team members
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including financial modeling and business case analysis
- Able to effectively communicate complex concepts to an executive audience
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business and manage relationships to deliver outcomes
- Team player with a willingness and curiosity to push past assigned work
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or other post-graduate degree is considered an asset, but not required
