Job Summary
Senior Manager, Strategic Planning responsible for overseeing high-priority strategic programs within Health Plan Service Operations, aligning business strategy with technology delivery, and shaping future-state service experiences through operational models and roadmaps. Drives cross-functional execution across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines, coordinates feature-level delivery, ensures operational readiness including change management, and develops executive-grade communications to inform leadership decisions. Requires strategic planning and program-management expertise, matrixed collaboration, and ability to synthesize complex inputs into concise, decision-oriented materials for senior leaders. Focus areas include affordability, differentiation, and operational excellence within a large health-care ecosystem. This role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable execution plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in health care, insurance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with strategic business planning or program/project management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong executive communication skills
- Ability to operate in a matrixed environment
- Experience driving strategic planning and execution oversight
