Job Summary
Senior Manager of Strategic Operations at Sphere will drive cross-functional growth initiatives and operationalization across a growing portfolio of venues. You will develop scalable operational models and frameworks, translate strategies into repeatable, on-the-ground playbooks, and partner with diverse teams to launch and optimize new Sphere venues from day one. The role combines strategic consulting rigor with hands-on execution, delivering data-driven insights, defining problem statements, structuring analyses, and guiding implementation of strategic and operational growth initiatives across Venue Operations, Studios, Sales & Service, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Technology, Corporate Development, and Business Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4-6+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Portfolio Operations, Investment Banking, Business Operations, or Strategy & Business Development
- Experience with multi-location, franchise, or chain-oriented industries/companies such as hospitality, entertainment, or similarly-scaled consumer businesses
- Demonstrated experience growing operations across multiple locations or markets with owned-and-operated or franchise models (a plus)
- Experience leading and influencing in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Track-record of delivering global strategy, operations, and growth initiatives in highly ambiguous environments
- Periodic travel to Sphere locations (e.g., Burbank, Las Vegas) and other Sphere sites
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA preferred
