Job Summary
Senior Manager, Software Engineering in Boston leads a global 4–7 engineer team focused on technology architecture, end-to-end delivery, and stakeholder engagement across CIO and Client Operations. Responsibilities include embedding Generative AI capabilities into the software development lifecycle, delivering measurable business value, defining and executing the technology roadmap, and promoting agile practices. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with senior stakeholders, and the ability to drive innovation, security, and scalable, future-ready solutions across distributed teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology experience in wealth or asset management
- 5+ years in engineering leadership or management
- Experience embedding Generative AI in SDLC
- Transformational change leadership
- Hands-on technical foundation in agile, DevOps, cloud, security, modernization
- Strong communication across technical and executive stakeholders
- Proven talent development and retention
- Preferred: experience managing third-party vendors, digital transformation understanding, Python, Flask, Azure, React, GraphQL, PHP, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow
