Job Summary
Senior Manager for Software Engineering (Full Stack) based in Bengaluru, leading Engineering Platform teams responsible for workflow orchestration, developer experience, platform automation, and feedback/insights. You will oversee design, development, configuration, testing, and ongoing improvements of enterprise software solutions, provide roadmap insights, and ensure successful deployment and operational health. The role emphasizes leading a team, enforcing best engineering practices, conducting code reviews, leveraging DevOps and observability, coordinating with scrum teams, aligning with stakeholders, and managing budgets and forecasts while ensuring adherence to company methodology, standards, and ITIL/SDLC processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
- 8 years of IT experience
- 8 years of experience in software engineering or related field
- 8 years of experience working on projects involving the implementation of software development life cycles (SDLC)
- 3 years of experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility
- 5 years of experience in software development in an agile environment and working with third-party vendors/software solution providers
- 5 years of experience working in an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- 3 years of experience in IT management in the retail industry
- 3 years of experience in an IT role requiring interaction with senior leadership
- 3 years of experience involving design/build/maintenance of software solutions
- Experience designing solutions leveraging microservice architecture and API integration
