Job Summary
Lead a team of software and quality engineers delivering compliance automation, AI solutions, and risk control platforms while owning the engineering roadmap for the Legal & Privacy pillar. Translate complex regulatory obligations into scalable technical solutions and establish software quality standards aligned with NBCU cyber guidelines. Partner directly with Legal, Cyber, and Compliance stakeholders to drive delivery across multiple concurrent programs, manage defects and major incidents, and enforce global support standards and SLAs. Own the problem management process, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely executive communication on risk exposure and engineering trade-offs. Fully remote position requiring deep technical leadership with business acumen in the compliance and risk space.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management or senior technical leadership
- 5+ years of experience leading ML and automation solutions
- 3+ years of experience in deploying AI solutions
- Demonstrated experience delivering compliance, regulatory, risk, or governance technology in a large enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of major privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional programs with legal, privacy, and compliance stakeholders
- Proven ability to influence and communicate at S/VP levels
- Experience managing and growing engineering teams (software and quality engineers + managers) in a matrixed Fortune 100 or equivalent environment
- Fully Remote

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data governance platforms or GRC
- Familiarity with AI/ML, emerging regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience supporting regulatory privacy or security certification
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow and Jira)
