Job Summary
The Senior Manager will lead and scale the Quality Engineering organization for Disney's commerce, data, and advertising systems, focusing on strategic, operational, and technical leadership across multiple teams. Responsibilities include inspiring teams, defining a multi-year vision and strategic roadmap, and championing best-in-class practices and tools. Candidates should have extensive experience in quality engineering, cloud-native environments, and test automation, along with strong communication and mentoring skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development
- 5+ years managing managers or leading multi-team organizations
- Proven track record of scaling and transforming quality engineering functions
- Demonstrated experience defining and driving organizational strategy
- Advanced proficiency with Python or modern OO languages
- Strong desire for establishing and improving product quality
