Job Summary
SEO Manager will implement SEO best practices, optimize content, and develop link-building strategies to help clients reach search goals. You will partner with paid media teams to blend paid and organic strategies, discuss strategy with clients, lead multiple accounts, and drive reporting and actionable insights. The role requires 4+ years in hands-on SEO management, experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog), e-commerce/direct response experience, and proficiency with Shopify/WordPress/Webflow/Magento-like platforms. Hybrid role based in Downtown San Diego, combining remote and in-office collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in hands-on, day to day management of SEO accounts
- Experience writing SEO tags, optimizing content, and link building
- Experience with Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and ScreamingFrog
- E-commerce & direct response experience
- Experience in Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Storyblock, or Magento
- Ability to examine and understand data to drive decision making
- Analytical thinker- always asking the “why” and not afraid to speak up
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and formulas (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
- Creative mindset with ability to brainstorm new concepts with clients
- Experience collaborating with paid media teams to blend paid and organic strategies
- Ability to manage tasks between different departments
