Job Summary
Hyperfine, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting with expertise in SEC reporting and technical accounting. The role involves preparing SEC filings, managing compliance processes, and leading the equity accounting process. Requires a Bachelor's degree, CPA license, and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Active CPA license required.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or industry (Big 4 experience highly preferred).
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to translate complex accounting topics for non-finance audiences.
- High energy, integrity, and ownership mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ActiveDisclosure (or similar), NetSuite, and Insight/Certent software preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience with XBRL and filing with the SEC.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
