Job Summary
Lead the Scaled Services team across strategic program implementation, internal tooling, and quality assurance standards. Drive end-to-end launch delivery for fraud and safety initiatives, ensuring on-time execution within budget and quality thresholds. Build and govern shared AI-ready data models, metric definitions, and automated workflows to enable self-service velocity for the global FSI organization. Establish centralized quality governance to maintain consistent, defensible standards across all domains while championing rigorous testing practices. Represent the team on the FSI leadership to align cross-functional roadmaps with Product, Engineering, and Analytics partners. Cultivate a high-performance culture for a distributed team focused on accountability, ownership, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or program management
- 5+ years managing managers
- track record of building and developing high-performing, distributed teams
- Experience leading multi-functional operations teams that sit at the intersection of process, tooling, and data
- Strong grasp of data and analytics
- understanding of data architecture
- understanding of metric governance
- understanding of what it takes to build self-service data systems
- Proven ability to set quality standards at scale and govern them impartially
- Strong cross-functional influence skills
- Clear, direct communicator
- ability to make complex programs and data concepts legible to any audience, from frontline leads to the C-suite
- Experience in Trust, Fraud, Safety, or a high-stakes operations environment
- instincts for urgency, precision, and user impact
- The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager
- must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
Desired Qualifications
- ideally spanning both people-management and technical or data-adjacent work
- Experience in Trust, Fraud, Safety, or a high-stakes operations environment is a plus, but not required
